  • This is early conference registration fee for all members. All registrants must have a valid NAHP Membership to register.
  • Please use this registration if you are presenting at the 2024 conference. Please use your presenter code.
  • Scholarship Recipients for 2025 conference. Please use Code. (You will have already submitted an application and received an acceptance letter.)
  • All registrants must have a valid NAHP Membership to register.
  • Student registration is available ONLY to current Student/Intern members. (Student Registration is visible to Student/Intern Members. If you are applying for a scholarship, please do not register as a student until after you receive notification.)

Please join us September 11-13 in Minneapolis, MN for our 2025 conference, CONNECTIONS IN PRACTICE, co-sponsored by the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. More than 20 speakers and 9 demonstrators will share on topics ranging from global networking that drives innovation in paper arts, building a mobile paper studio, how papermaking intersects with a movement to reduce waste, the tools and toolmakers who allow us to continue working in paper, and more. The 3-day conference offers special registration rates for early registration, students, and presenters. Your registration will include all talks and regular demonstrations (unless specified otherwise) as well as coffee breaks, receptions, and the final banquet on Saturday night. (In addition, during registration you may purchase banquet tickets for guests.)

Early Registration: $260 (Closes Aug 18 at 11:59pm)

Standard Registration: $305 (open from Aug 19-Sept 1 at 11:59pm)

Student Registration: $165 (closes Sept 1 at 11:59pm)*

Presenter Registration: $180  (closes Sept 1 at 11:59pm) **

* You must be a registered student or current NAHP student-intern member to use the Student Registration level. 

** Confirmed Presenters (and Scholarship recipients) will receive a private code to register.

Most events for Connections in Practice will be held at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Conference attendees have opportunities to attend inspiring talks and panels, participate in exciting demos, and join tours and other events at MCBA, and around Minneapolis. A few demonstrations and tours may have limited space due to logistics and require sign up at the registration table when you check-in.

All registrants MUST have current NAHP membership  to attend the conference. Membership dues are separate from conference registration fees. Cancellations received by August 11 are subject to a $50 administration fee. Cancellations received between August 12–August 28 are subject to a $100 administrative fee. No refunds after September 1, 2025.

Scholarships. Scholarships are available for both students and non-students to cover conference registration and the Saturday banquet. This year, limited funds will also be available to cover part of an applicant’s travel and lodging. We are currently accepting scholarship applications, with a deadline of June 29, 11:59PM CDT.
